Kirkcudbright is a fairly compact town and most venues are within easy walking distance for the able bodied and of course there is always the free 'Trail' bus (route and scheduled stops are marked on the map above). Street parking is available in the Bar Hill and Boreland areas for those who need to travel by car.
The areas are: Bar Hill, Boreland, High Street Central, High Street East, High Street North, Merse, Town Centre and Town Hall.

During the Trail Weekend you will be guided around the town by posters and arrows, displayed on lamposts and other prominent positions. To further assist you each venue will display a blue board with its venue number (the reference number used in the brochure - click for brochure).
